Steve Jobs era Apple, la empresa que ayudó a fundar en 1976 y con la que creó algunos de los productos más admirados en el mundo tecnológico de los últimos años. Tras su muerte, se hace irresistible la tentación de mirar el pasado, aunque eso chocaría con las propias consignas de Jobs. "Si miras hacia atrás en este negocio, serás aplastado. Tienes que mirar hacia delante", dijo en 2009 cuando se conmemoraban los 25 años de la creación de Macintosh, el primer computador comercial con ratón e interfaz gráfico. "Apple es un reflejo de Steve y él no quiere celebrar el pasado. Él siempre dice que el trabajo importante es el que haces hoy y mañana, no el de ayer", esa reflexión la hizo en 2009, Andy Hertzfeld, uno de los expertos que formó parte del equipo que desarrolló el Mac. Hace unos días, a través de 9to5mac , llegaba información sobre Assistant, el nuevo sistema de control por voz que se espera aparezca con el nuevo  iPhone 5 (o iPhone 4S ). Esta función promete ser uno de los puntos fuertes de la nueva generación de iPhone . Será exclusiva del nuevo modelo debido a que necesita un procesador más potente y más memoria RAM que la que incluyen los actuales iPhone 3GS y iPhone 4. Aunque esta información todavía no ha sido confirmada , en el blog Macrumors dan fiabilidad a la noticia argumentando que han escuchado el mismo rumor proveniente de otras fuentes. Pero no sólo eso, han creado un vídeo que recrea cómo será el funcionamiento de Assistant con la colaboración de Jan Michael Cart (un diseñador gráfico conocido por otros vídeos sobre las funciones de iOS 5). Aunque el vídeo no muestra novedades con respecto a lo que ya  apuntaba 9to5mac, es interesante ver en acción algunas de las funciones que ofrecerá Assistant . Para activarlo
